Why do one thing when you can do everything? The Mega Monster is the absolute best of Alaskan saltwater fishing. This new fishing adventure offers our clients several enhancements over our traditional and extremely popular overnight double limit:

  • Our maximum passenger count was reduced from 34 to 18, giving you plenty of elbowroom and maximizing your bottom time.  Big boat comfort with a low passenger fishing experience.

  • Our anglers are allowed two limits of halibut (catch your first halibut before midnight and your second limit will be caught between midnight and whenever we wrap up in the morning) and another limit of various Rockfish and/or Salmon.

  • This is a true, long-range, multi-species fishing trip.

  • We depart at 2pm and the approximate 1pm return time the following day will give us even more fishing time on either side of the clock.

  • We will have lightweight fishing gear available to test angler skills and increase the fun on an already great experience.

  • We are extending our range beyond the reach of the typical Homer fleet:
We will be traveling further and targeting larger halibut on this trip.

When the halibut limit is caught we can travel to even more remote areas for other bottom fish.

  • This trip is available in August only.
